What are your office hours ?

I am available to see patients between the hours of 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

Do you accept insurance?

I am an out of network provider with insurance however I will help you navigate through the insurance process. Please contact me to discuss further.

How long are sessions?

The initial evaluation is 75 minutes. Each following treatment session is 55 minutes.

What should I expect in the initial evaluation?

The initial evaluation will consist of discussion about medical history and complete physical assessment to get an understanding and baseline of what you are experiencing in your body. It will also consist of hands on treatment, gentle mobility, breathing exercises and education to address your concerns. You will leave with home exercises.

Do you offer virtual sessions and what do they consist of?

Yes. Virtual sessions consist of discussion to address concerns, visual assessment, and instruction in mind body practices including; self myofascial release guidance, breathing exercises, mobility, strengthening work. 

What should I wear to treatment sessions?

You will be given a gown for the hands on portion of our work but come in comfortable clothing to move in for our mobility work.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment

What is Integrative Physical Therapy?

My definition of Integrative Physical Therapy is the Holistic nature of how I approach my work. I consider the integration of the mind- body connection, all aspects of lifestyle, my collaboration with each individual patient, their medical team and alternative practitioners to support the healing process.

How long after surgery can I start physical therapy?

Patients must be cleared by their surgeons in order to begin physical therapy. It is usually when their drains are removed, about 3-4 weeks post operatively.

Can I come see you years after my surgery if I need some help with pain, tightness or decreased mobility?

It is very common for body signals to appear years after surgery and treatment for various reasons. Healing is not linear. If you feel new pain, tightness or decreased mobility it is helpful to get some support to navigate through and to get to the root cause of your symptoms.
